Officers are issuing a CCTV image of a suspect following an unprovoked assault at a bar in Bournemouth.

Sometime between 12.30am and 12.45am on Sunday 21 October 2018 the victim, a man aged in his 30s and from Wimborne, was assaulted in the toilets of Be at One cocktail bar on Richmond Hill. The alarm was raised by members of staff who found the victim injured.

He sustained a large cut above his right eye, which required him to have stitches in hospital.

Police Constable Alex Browning, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following our enquiries and efforts to identify this man, I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of this suspect. I would ask anyone who recognises this man to please contact Dorset Police.”
