Officers are appealing for the public’s help to find an 89-year-old woman who has gone missing from her home in Weymouth.

Kathleen King was last seen at her home address in Rodwell Road at 9.30am today, Wednesday 24 October 2018, when her breakfast was delivered to her. The same company returned at 1pm but Kathleen was not at home. She has not been seen or heard from since. She was reported missing at 4.25pm.

She is described as white, around five feet tall, with white hair in a short bob style. She wears glasses and following searches it would appear her brown ankle boots and black handbag are missing.

Chief Inspector Alan Setchell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are very concerned for Kathleen as she never goes anywhere without family and she can be easily confused.

“We are carrying out a number of searches in the Weymouth area for Kathleen and I would urge anyone who has seen her or a woman matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police immediately.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Kathleen’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 24:306.
