Level 2 Media students from Weymouth College who have been taking part in the NCS programme (National Citizen Service) have produced a number of videos detailing how Weymouth & Portland has changed over the years.  For their community project they were commissioned by Dorset Eye to produce audio-visual pieces that reflect the history and heritage of Dorset, and celebrate the special character of the people of Dorset and their history.  They interviewed people who were born and raised in the local area between the 1930’s and 1960’s and recorded their experiences and memories.

They also went about fundraising for the Dorset Eye, raising an impressive £72 from a cake sale, which can go towards supporting the news outlet and ensuring community news can continue to be reported by the community for the community.
