Detectives investigating a series of burglaries in Bournemouth, Poole and Purbeck are asking members of the public if they can identify items of recovered jewellery.

A series of six linked burglaries occurred between Wednesday 17 October and Tuesday 23 October 2018. Properties in Guest Avenue in Poole, Wick Lane and Castle Lane West in Bournemouth and Miles Avenue and Filleul Road were targeted with jewellery stolen.

Dima-Adrian Angheluta, aged 33 and from Bournemouth, was arrested and charged in connection with the incidents and a quantity of jewellery has been recovered. He entered guilty pleas to six counts of burglary and is due to be sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday 23 November 2018.

The owners for a number of items that were recovered have not been identified and images of these items have been posted on the Dorset Police Priority Crime Team Flickr page at www.flickr.com/photos/dorsetpolice/sets/72157673444847877.

Detective Constable Andrew Burley, of the PCT, said: “We are encouraging any members of the public who have had jewellery stolen or missing to visit the page and see if they can identify any of the items.

“We will be looking to use the page to post images of further items that are recovered during our investigations.”

Detectives are also issuing images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their ongoing investigation.

DC Burley said: “I would urge anyone with information regarding this man’s identity to contact us.”

Anyone with information about the jewellery on the Flickr page or who recognises the man pictured is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55180172291.
