14 Year Old Boy Arrested Following Criminal Damage to Multiple cars in Sherborne

Officers are appealing for witnesses, victims or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate reported criminal damage to cars in Sherborne.

Dorset Police received a report at 11.15pm on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, that a teenager was acting aggressively and was breaking into a number of parked cars in Littlefield.

It was further reported that damage had been caused to some of the vehicles.

Following enquiries by officers, a 14-year-old boy from Sherborne was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He remains in police custody at this time.

Detective Inspector Rhys Griffiths, of Dorset County CID, said: “We know this incident may have caused some concern with residents in the area and there are a number of victims who have had their vehicles damaged.

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses or victims who have not already spoken to police and would also urge anyone who has captured the incident on doorbell cameras or other footage to please contact us.

“Our officers can be approached by any members of the public who have queries or concerns.”
