16 year old girl arrested following collision in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a collision in Poole.

At approximately 4pm on Tuesday 13 September 2022 officers received a report of a collision involving a red moped on Sea View Road.

Officers attended and the rider of the moped – a 16-year-old girl – was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries. She was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving offences and was released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Police Constable Clare Gillard, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please come forward.

“We are carrying out enquiries to establish whether a second vehicle was involved and I would ask anyone with relevant dashcam footage to please get in touch.”
