Officers investigating a serious injury road traffic collision in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
The collision between a green Honda Civic and a Gilera Runner motorcycle happened on Greenhill near Melcombe Avenue at around 6pm on Friday 30 December 2022.
The rider of the motorbike, a 17-year-old boy from Weymouth, sustained serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Constable Tom Ringer, of the traffic unit, said: “I would like to urge any witnesses to the incident or the manner of driving of either vehicle leading up to it to please contact us if we have not taken their account yet.
“I know that there was another vehicle travelling on Greenhill toward Weymouth and the occupants would have seen the collision, but did not stop. Therefore, I am very keen to hear from them as they may be able to assist with my investigation.”
