“I will be 76 very soon and so of course I was a war baby, and at an early age was very aware of the fight that Clement Atlee and co faced to make the amazing changes that came post war, my mum and Nan never stopped talking about it, showing me the write ups in the then Daily (labour) Mirror!! No more doctors fees!! The free NHS from the cradle to the grave!! All paid for by the people with their National insurance contributions !! It was a new world for the working classes and literally done against the odds !!

So I have lived through many governments none so bad as the Thatcher years!! She who created the ”loads a money lot” the ”hooray f***** henries’ I thought wrong. Cos then came along the the smiling boy Tony Blair, whom my dear old mum said ”he’s no labour, he is a frigging tory” and she of course was not wrong. And now we have a situation where our children and our grand children are actually worse off than I was. The rich, the greedy government, the corruption of the big companies who would rather hide their wealth in off shore systems!! They do not pay their taxes fairly ”the I’m all right jacks”…. never in my lifetime have I known such greed and unfairness and at times I do despair.

But 2 years ago a man came along who lifted me so high I haven’t come down!! A man who can and will change it for us all, an honest wise and caring man, just like Clement Attlee and we are so lucky he did, it was so meant to happen!! At a time when we are being crushed!, murdered (by stealth), homelessness beyond belief!!! Our NHS at breaking point!! Many of us at breaking point all due to the disease of greed! I want to leave this mortal coil in the knowledge than mine and your families are in safe hands! The hands of Jeremy and co!! VOTE LABOUR on the 8th of June to make this old lady and the democratic socialists of britain happy. Xx”
