Officers searching for a missing man from Poole are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Benedict O’Neill, aged 23, left Banbury train station at around 8pm on Sunday 30 August 2020 and was due to return to his home address in Poole. 

Following enquiries and searches by officers, Benedict has been located safe and well in the Southampton area.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers searching for a missing man from Poole are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Benedict O’Neill, aged 23, left Banbury train station at around 8pm on Sunday 30 August 2020 and was due to return to his home address in Poole. However, he has not been seen or heard from since.

Benedict is described as white, six feet tall and of slim build with short dark hair and dark eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey T-shirt, a green Puffa-style jacket, black skinny jeans and black pointed boots.

Chief Inspector Steve May, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Benedict as we understand he has been upset recently.

“Benedict was due to arrive at Bournemouth train station at around 10.45pm on Sunday 30 August 2020 and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen him in the area to please get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description given, to contact Dorset Police.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Benedict please contact us or your family as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”
