In Canada it is 40%.

With the attack of globalisation and the reduction of languages worldwide the French have sought to try and protect their native tongue. By setting legal limits on radio licences it means that culturally the state can maintain some control and prevent an absolute takeover by a music industry in the west dominated by the English language.

This has caused much debate but many deem this partial prohibition as necessary against the rampant nature of western colonisation.
