A woman is due to appear in court in connection with a reported fail-to-stop collision in Dorchester.

It was reported that at around 1.10pm on Tuesday 21 December 2021 a collision occurred involving a silver Mercedes, which was stationary, and a silver or grey Mini Clubman in the car park outside Parkhouse Pet Supplies on the Marabout Industrial Estate.

The driver of the Mini allegedly failed to stop at the scene and drove out of the car park without leaving their details.

Following enquiries, a 67-year-old woman from the Dorchester area has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 24 May 2022 for offences of failing to stop after a road accident and failing to report a road accident.
