A man has been charged in connection with a report of sexual assault in Weymouth.
It was reported that between 12pm and 1pm on Thursday 27 April 2023 a man engaged a teenage girl in conversation as they travelled on the number 10 bus from Dorchester to Weymouth.
He then allegedly grabbed her and kissed her in the area of Weymouth train station.
A 75-year-old local man was arrested and, following enquiries by officers, has been charged with sexual assault. He is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 13 December 2023.
