Police very concerned for missing Wimborne boy

Officers searching for missing Wimborne teenager Archie McCann are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Archie was reported missing having last been seen on Sunday 4 June 2023.

Following searches by officers, he has now been located.

We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.

Officers are appealing for help and information from the public as they carry out enquiries to find a missing teenage boy from Wimborne.

Archie McCann, aged 16, was last seen on Sunday 4 June 2023 in Wimborne and despite lengthy ongoing enquiries he has not been located.

He is described as five feet 10 inches tall and with a skin-fade haircut. It is not known what he was wearing.

Police Constable Jane Bayliss, of Dorset Police, said: “Our enquiries to locate Archie have been continuing, but so far we have been unable to find him.

“Due to his young age and the passage of time since he was last seen, we are concerned for his welfare.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Archie or knows where he is to please urgently contact Dorset Police.”
