Update

Officers can confirm missing man Merlin Colverson, from North Dorset, has been located.

Merlin was reported missing having last been seen during the early hours of Saturday 6 July 2024.

Following enquiries and searches by officers, he has now been located.

Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing man from North Dorset.

Merlin Colverson, aged 39, was reported missing from Wincombe Lane in Shaftesbury at around 4.40am on Saturday 6 July 2024.

Merlin is described as five feet eleven inches tall, of medium build with short, dark brown hair. He has a slight scar on the right side of his face.

He is wearing a high-vis jacket, black work trousers and black steel toe cap boots.

Chief Inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out a number of enquiries to try and locate Merlin as soon as possible and I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please report it to us immediately.

“I would also like to appeal directly to Merlin to please make contact with family and friends and let us know where you are. We all just want to make sure that you are ok.”
