Armonico Consort – Spem In Alium/Supersize Polyphony 2
Thursday 30 January, 7pm, Concert Hall
The critically acclaimed Supersize Polyphony programme of choral music on a colossal scale with staging in 20, 40, and even 60 different voice parts. This concert will also feature two world premieres by Hollywood composer David Buckley, as well as Tallis’s Spem in Alium.
Lunchtime Recital: Isabella Gori and Viola Lenzi (piano duo)

Featuring music by Dvořák, Grieg, Saint-Saëns and Grieg.
Studio Jazz: Tommy Smith & Gwylim Simcock Duo
Friday 14 February, 7.45pm, Sherling Studio
Uniting two generations of UK jazz – Tommy is one of the world’s leading saxophonists, who has recorded over 30 solo albums; Mercury Prize nominee Gwilym is at home in both the jazz and classical worlds.
Studio Jazz: Chris Batchelor’s Pigfoot

Having burst onto the London scene in 2013 with their jazz ‘21st Century Acid Trad’, a highly original take on New Orleans jazz, Pigfoot have expanded their repertoire in all directions.

Studio Jazz: ZoëGilby Quartet

Making her Lighthouse debut, Zoë is an exuberant singer and songwriter backed by a superb trio, encompassing a wide repertoire of jazz standards, original songs and innovative arrangements of pop tunes.
Studio Jazz: Alex Clarke with Emily Masser Quintet

This quintet joins two of the very best young musicians who’ve emerged on the jazz scene in the past few years with some of the most in-demand musicians in British jazz.
Lunchtime Recital: the Helliconia Duo (flute and guitar)

formed in 2021, Catriona Bourne and Julia Seibert perform a repertoire that includes classical and folk music from around the world, ranging from South American choro and Argentinian tango to Romanian, Macedonian and North American folk tunes.
An Evening with Pip Hare
Thursday 3 April, 7.30pm, Theatre
In 2020, Poole-based sailor Pip Hare became the eighth woman in history to finish the Vendée Globe solo, non-stop race around the world. In 2024, she did it all over again, but this time in a newer and faster boat. Join us for an inspirational evening as Pip talks about her life on both water and land.
The Alice Project

Armonico Consort – Handel: Israel In Egypt

Last Man Standing: An Evening with Sir Geoff Hurst

Join Sir Geoff on his final farewell tour. A sporting legend who is still the only player ever to score a hat trick on a winning side in a men’s World Cup final, Sir Geoff will talk about his illustrious career and answer questions from the audience.
Studio Jazz: Georgia Mancio with the Alan Broadbent Quartet

Multi-award-winning vocalist/lyricist Georgia Mancio and double-Grammy-winning pianist/composer Alan Broadbent have been lauded as one of the most formidable songwriting partnerships of the 21st century.
Lunchtime Recital: Mikaela Livadiotis (piano)

A pianist based in London and specialising in contemporary works and improvisation, in September 2023 Mikaela started a part-time artist diploma course at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, supported by the Jimmy Cross Prize Fund Award.
Studio Jazz: Andy Hague’s Sexteto Gringo

Trumpeter Andy Hague leads a band that aims to please both jazz and salsa audiences with Latin-jazz classics from Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Dizzy Gillespie and Thelonious Monk, combined with a few of Andy’s originals.
Studio Jazz: Henry Spencer Quartet

Via conservatoire and performing on the London jazz scene, Henry Spencer is a multi-award-winning trumpeter, bandleader and composer who describes his style as touching straight ahead jazz, rock and minimalism
