As cuts to adult social services start to bite and social security payments are capped, Councillor Paul R Kimber, the Labour & Cooperative Councillor (who’s also standing for Dorset County Council in Portland Tophill this May), wants to hear from people on Portland who are caring for relatives or friends.
It’s clear that the Conservative-led Dorset County Council doesn’t understand the pressures people are under. Paul Kimber wishes to start to focus on carers and would like them to tell him directly about their concerns, their problems and worries.
Labour does understand and does care, but needs to know your first-hand experiences so we can try to convince the rest of Dorset County Council to give more help and support.
Call Paul on 01305 822121 or 07801 629648
