Swanage Blues Festival A host of national and international acts gather for the latest celebration of blues, roots and funk in pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafés, not to mention the railway station, in and around Swanage. Arnie Cottrell Band (Ropemakers, West Street, Bridport DT6 3QP): Arnie Cottrell has been playing music for most of his life. He started out on the folk scene of the 60s and 70s where he formed an enduring but interrupted friendship with East End guitarist, singer and songwriter Richard Digance.
