Prime Minister,

So you’ve blocked the vote on yet another of your pre-election promises, which would have permitted a petition of 10% or more of errant MPs’ constituents to force a by-election.  Let’s see if we can’t figure out why that might be:

•  Your Work and Pensions Secretary has presided over the untimely and unnecessary deaths, the evictions and the descent into absolute poverty of more people than any predecessor of his – with the possible exception of Lamont in the last case – ever caused;

•  Your Party’s MP, Christopher Chope, has refused to meet with elderly constituents who are threatened by the flooding in Christchurch;

•  Marc Hoban point blank refused to meet with the representatives of disabled people while he was Employment Minister;

•  Another of your Party’s MP’s, whose name is not at all worthy of remembrance, funded a nazi-themed celebration in France;

•  Another of your Party’s MP’s refused to return public monies that he was found to have misappropriated during the period leading up to the Expenses Scandal;

•  Your Chancellor used public money in the European courts to defend bankers’ bonus levels; used public money to purchase land for himself; avoided paying taxes on the sale of his property; and knowingly accepted a what can only be termed as a bribe, in the form of a Party donation, in exchange for reversing a decision concerning a national food taxation issue;

•  A Liberal Democrat MP working at the Treasury who has constantly refused to authorise HMRC to actively pursue unpaid taxes from corporations who are known to be major donors to the Conservative Party;

•  Your Environment Secretary deliberately cutting funding to the Environment Agency, which money could have been used to prepare for the deluge of filthy and disease-ridden water, that has ruined the lives and homes of so many people in Somerset and the Thames Valley, and which is now set to threaten Gloucester;

•  A Justice Secretary who, having been complicit in causing the deaths of vulnerable people while a Minister at the Department for Work and Pensions, has now caused access to proper justice to be removed from ordinary people as well, and who has introduced the use of so-called “secret courts” for trials;

•  An MP of your Party who, in cahoots with the aforementioned W&P Secretary and while working as the Minister who was supposed to be FOR Disabled People, shut down a major source of employment for those disabled people in the face of massive public opposition.  This MP’s constituency has gone from being one of the wealthiest, per capita, in the South, to seeing people from all – and I do mean ALL – walks of life each having to rely upon a share of the eleven TONNES of local foodbank assistance provided so far.  Assistance that has needed to be provided in unprecedentedly increasing amounts across the nation since you usurped office;

•  An MP of your Party who has been the subject of a criminal investigation, ordered to be closed, unresolved, by your office, into plagiarism of other businesses’ websites;

•  The London Mayor, who made 550 firefighters redundant by closing down ten of their stations even as the flood threat was building; who is now set on course to make hundreds, if not thousands, of TfL employees redundant by closing ticket offices in the London Underground; and who even wants to build an airport in the Thames Estuary in the face of rising sea levels!

•  A Home Secretary who approved the use of openly racist activity;

•  A Cabinet member who advocated the storage of petrol during a government-manufactured fuel shortage, which led to the injury by burning of one woman;

•  Your Education Secretary, for passing out “gift parcels” of school land to favoured industrialists and property developers;

•  Your Health Secretaries, who work(ed) at the dismantling of the NHS, paving the way for even more Tory Party donors to snap up its discontinued services;

•  Yourself, for failing to control and punish the actions described above, and for lying about your commitment to maintaining the NHS;

•  Your own attempt, via the so-called “Gagging Law” to silence opposition to your desreputable policies;

•  Your own attempt to strangle traditional sources of funding for parties who stand in opposition to your government.

If we ever needed any proof that you are now utterly terrified of what the electorate might wish to do to punish you and your senior Ministers for your – and their – duplicity and arrogance-driven malfeasance, Prime Minister, then here is that proof.  It’s plain to see that if you had the balls to stand up for the promises that you made, you’d be left without a Cabinet, because there are more than ten per cent of people, adversely affected by your Party’s misgovernance of the United Kingdom, in any constituency you might care to name, who would willingly raise the petitions required!  You know it and we know it.

You, David Cameron, like all bullies, are a craven COWARD.  You’ve just proved it to the entire nation; I am merely highlighting the fact.

It’s no wonder that your Party is now being constantly hammered down into third place, beneath UKIP, in local and by-elections, is it?  People have seen through your lies and your stranglehold on the Press, and you are now reaping the rewards of your appalling bully-boy behaviour.  At last we see the public waking up and making sure that, in the years after 2015, you will most definitely NOT be at Britain’s helm.  We can only hope that the immense damage that you and your cronies have done to British society can be undone by whoever follows you into 10 Downing Street.

The Press, for reasons best known to itself, likes to refer to governments as being “in power.”  You are now exposed to the entire nation as not being in power at all.  Power means that one has the self-control and the means to direct one’s own destiny and it is patently obvious that you do not.  All I see you as now is a drowning creature, flailing desperately to grasp at any available straw that might serve to keep its sorry, overfed arse afloat.  The sooner you and those most closely associated with you sink beneath the waves of your own making, the better for all of us.

Total Recall will happen in 2015 if it can’t happen sooner.

Sincerely,

Darren Lynch
