We personally think these wind turbines out at sea could really help regenerate our very lacking Marine life in Poole Bay, mainly due to the consistent racking of the sea bed. I Have always believed that artificial reefs should have been created years ago by decommissioned boats/aircraft, hence therefore these turbines could do a very similar job. We have travelled down through France and into Spain and back 14 times and always found the many dozens of wind turbines quite majestic. We live at Hengistbury Head and look forward to the possibility of just viewing them from Harbour Road beach.
