I would like to tell you a little about why I feel so strongly about raising money for this fantastic charity.  My granddad is my inspiration he has had 2 types of  cancer, he makes me so proud because of his positive approach he has had to endure painful tests and treatment and I am now pleased to say he is now clear.

I also have some very close friends who I am sad to say  have lost loved ones to cancer and I would like to dedicate this fund raising day to their memory.

My family and friends are so important to me and I couldn’t do this without their support,  they have all said that I am very brave to be shaving  all my hair off they have said that it takes courage to do this especially with being a teenager!  My answer to them is simple ” I have a choice and shaving my hair off is my way of giving something back to help Macmillan support all the people and families that they do so well. Yes I like my hair and it is important to me but it will grow back and I know in my heart that I will have done something so special to help people that really need some help”

A large part of Macmillan money comes from Legacies (money which is given from wills) another large part of donations come from fundraising events like mine. I hope to raise as much money as I can and with your help in donating to my just giving page i thank you from the bottom of my heart. Rest assured your donation whether its small or large will help somebody somehow  and for that I would like to say a very big Thank you for your support.

My fundraising day will be held on the 26th of July 2014, its in my local community hall (Mudeford Community Hall) Christchurch, Dorset,  with a time starting from 1pm – 4pm.  There is going to be lots happening on the day as we wanted to have something going on for all ages to really bring the community together.  There will be stalls to find lovely gifts, unique sweets & chocolates, Glitter Tattoos and Face Painting, Health & Beauty products and many other stalls offering some great treats. There will also be a raffle and some great prizes to be won.  Please come along on he day and support my event. I really need as much support as I can get.
