Purbeck Folk Festival is inviting the good folk of Dorchester and Weymouth to come and join the party this August bank holiday – for free!
There’s a special buy one-get-one-free offer on day tickets available for anyone living in the DT postcode area. That means anyone buying a day ticket can get a free ticket for a second day of great music on four stages, as well as all the other highlights including great food, fancy dress, kids’ activities, film and art all on a 600-acre sheep farm in the heart of the beautiful Isle of Purbeck.
Commenting on the DT postcode offer, festival director Michael Callaghan said: “We have had incredible support from local individuals and organisations who have told us they love the Purbeck Folk Festival. This is our chance to give something back to local people and show that we value the backing of the community and the way the event has been embraced by people across the county.”
Until August 15, residents with a DT postcode who buy a day ticket for Purbeck Folk Festival will be provided with a ticket for a second day free of charge. The tickets are available now from Dorchester TIC and Weymouth Pavilion box office. To claim residents will need to bring a utility bill or similar proof of their address.
