Businesses across West Dorset are invited to a free drop in event offering business advice and support.

West Dorset District Council is running the event, which will offer a range of advice on topics such as growing your business, importing and exporting, locating new premises, financing your business and marketing.

The event, supported by the local chambers of commerce, will take place in the conference room at Highlands End Holiday Park, Bridport, on 16 October between 4pm and 7pm.

Support will also be on offer from organisations such as Dorset Business Mentoring, UK Trade and Investment, The Dorset Skills Hub and The Dorset Growth Hub.

Nick Thornley, Economy, Leisure and Tourism Manager at West Dorset District Council, said: “We want to do all we can to support businesses across West Dorset.

“Having a strong local economy is a district council priority and it is very important for the area that our towns and villages continue to thrive.”
