Witty and engaging storyteller Jane Flood returns to the Story Cafe with a winter’s evening of tales for us all: A flick of the wrist and a slip of the tongue.

Meet a carefree gypsy, a dead bride and a woman silenced by a curse. There are tales of women who skip, trip and nip through the stories, leaving confusion, mayhem, puzzled mothers and fathers … and a few happily ever afters.

“Jane has the ability to transport the audience to the faraway land of myths and legends from our native past and to that of other cultures … Her storytelling is magical and yet of the earth … truly inspired and inspiring” (Merlin Theatre, Frome).

Doors open at 7pm and the storytelling starts at 7.30pm on Friday 23 January. The evening is suitable for adults and older children. Tickets are £7 / £6 members / £5 concessions available from Bridport Arts Centre box office 01308 424204 and via the website www.bridport-arts.com
