He then outlined a broad approach to foreign policy and dealing with terrorism.
May, by contrast, pitched up at the G7, launched a personalised attack and then told lies. Lies then repeated by her colleagues; not least Fallon who drove headfirst into a Channel 4 car crash. The strong and stable Thatcher reboot reduced to thrashing around like a lonely sock in a tumble dryer. Only with less credibility and dignity.
To be fair, you can see why. She’s watched a 24-point lead evaporate in 2 weeks, u-turned on policies before the ink was dry and been hammered because there are no credible costings for manifesto commitments.
