Healthwatch Dorset are holding a meeting on Monday 24th April at Allendale House, Hanham Road, Wimborne BH21 1AS. Local people are welcome to attend from 2pm to 4pm to find out more about Healthwatch Dorset and hear about the priorities they will be working on this year, at this public board meeting.

Joyce Guest, Healthwatch Dorset chairperson (pictured) explains “we’re keen to promote Healthwatch and share our work plan for the coming year. If you’d like to find out more about our work and meet Healthwatch Dorset board members, staff and volunteers, please join us in Wimborne on 24th April”

Healthwatch Dorset works with local people to discover what’s really going on in health and care services across the county. They offer free independent information to help you find your way through the system and use your feedback to influence the way local services are provided.

Over the last year Healthwatch Dorset has made improvements to home care services across Dorset, worked with children & young people to gather their feedback, published a report about NHS complaints and recently they’ve been visiting care homes across Dorset to find out what it’s really like for the people who live in them.

To find out more you can contact Healthwatch Dorset by calling 0300 111 0102 (calls cost the same as 01 or 02 numbers). Write to us free at Freepost RTJR-RHUJ-XBLH Healthwatch Dorset, 896 Christchurch Road BH7 6DL www.healthwatchdorset.co.uk Twitter @HwatchDorset & Facebook or by visiting your local Citizen Advice Bureau.
