Please Help Us Find Gaia

Officers are appealing for help from the public as they search for missing teenager Gaia Pope.

The 19-year-old lives in Langton Matravers but was last seen at an address in Swanage where she had been staying at around 3.45pm yesterday, Tuesday 7 November.

Officers are concerned for her welfare and are appealing for any information that can help locate her.

A number of searches were carried out in the area last night and those efforts have resumed this morning.

Gaia is described as white, five feet seven inches tall, of medium build and with long, mousey blonde hair. She was believed to be wearing a black fur-trimmed jacket, grey leggings and white trainers.

Chief Inspector Heather Dixey, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Gaia’s welfare and are making every effort to try and locate her.

“I would ask anyone who sees a woman matching her description, or who has any information as to where Gaia might be, to contact police immediately.

“I would also ask Gaia if she sees this appeal to please contact us or your family as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”
