Head to Falkland Square on Saturday, March 31, between 10am and 4pm to take part in a host of family-friendly Easter activities organised by Poole BID.
Visitors to Poole High Street can take part in themed activities including face painting, children’s entertainment, arts and crafts, competitions and dance displays, as well as an Easter Egg Trail around the town.
Children who wish to take part in the Easter Egg Trail can collect an entry form from the team in Falkland Square on the day.Families can follow the Easter trail around Poole high street, Town Quay and Falkland Square. All completed forms are to be returned to the Poole BID teamfor a free Easter egg.
Justin Hundley-Appleton, Poole BID manager, commented: “We’ve been hard at work planning fun-filled activities for all to enjoy this Easter. Christmas was a great success for us and we will be building on this momentum throughout the year to ensure that Poole continues to be a leading shopping destination and a hub of activity.”
Local transportation company morebus is set to get involved with the Easter fun by positioning oneof its brand new buses in Falkland Square. The organisation will host themed activities on-board, giving visitors the chance to sit in the driver’s seat.
Adam Keen, general manager of morebus and a director of Poole BID, added: “As Poole’s local bus company, it’s important to us that we get involved with community celebrations. The BID is working hard to improve Poole and part of that involves generating footfall – as such, I am delighted that we can do our bit to make Easter in Poole something which appeals to visiting families.”
