My response to the nasty people who say pathetic remarks like that

In a group recently I was subjected to someone saying that because I was often seen supporting a demo or action I could not possibly be disabled and was faking it.

In response to this rediculous remark – those who know me well and have met me and spend time with me, Know the pain i deal with on a daily basis, physical and emotional, how much I battle fatigue and exhaustion, and the emotional rollercoaster  that is rapid cycling bipolar.  That I often live with chronic depression.

I struggle with transport, and people and have horrendous social anxiety and often wear a mask to function, my only defense to the outside world.

To say I can’t possibly have a disability and am faking it, my response to the nasty people who say pathetic remarks like that – you do not live my life, or see the support I have to do every day things and the campaigning work I do.

Do not judge what you simply do not understand, better still go and educate yourself on a chronic health condition as ignorance is no excuse for plain nastiness!
