Poole’s free family event Rockley’s Summer Spectacular will come to an explosive finale on Thursday 30 August for the final night of the season.
Sponsored by Rockley Park, the free event is part of Wave 105’s Summertime in the South and brings a party atmosphere to Poole’s continental quayside every Thursday evening in August before finishing with a firework finale at 10pm over the largest natural harbour in Europe.
As the skies darken, prepare to be amazed by mesmerising juggling acts, unicycling, hula hooping and fire performances as Sam and Esther bring their love of the circus to Poole. For live music lovers, there’s the chance to dance night away with The New Beats who will be playing a classic mix of 60’s hits on the Quay.
Try a hula hoop workshop and see spectacular fire performances! Families can test their hoola hoop expertise and budding performers can brush up on their circus skills at Jamie Jigsaw’s Circus Workshop. Take home some top tips from the man himself – from juggling and plate spinning, to diabolo and ribbon twirling, there will be something for all ages and all abilities.
There’s plenty more for families to do including children’s rides, bouncy castles, music acts plus entertainment from street performers.

The stunning fireworks over Poole Harbour at 10pm bring this sizzling summer to an end.
Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
