Solidarity with our comrades at Stafford 4 Jeremy Corbyn. When out campaigning, if people say they do not like Jeremy Corbyn, 99.9% of the time this is based on an absolute & complete lie they had believed. While people are responsible for researching things themselves, let’s face it; politics is made deliberately complicated & boring SO people don’t know what is the *actual* truth…
Therefore, if you you open a newspaper, go online, switch on the TV or radio and virtually every story that mentions Jeremy Corbyn is painting him as an anti-Semite, racist, sexist, dictator, bully, terrorist-supporter, Russian stooge, Czech spy or whatever other blatant lie they want to tarnish him with that particular day, then you can understand why some have the opinion they do.
However, we are also talking here about people who do *think* they are above such influence, too. One such example was recently a conversation one member had at an airport with a Political Scientist who genuinely believed these lies until they were shown facts to prove they were being lied to. That is why this is an attack on basic democracy, never mind Jeremy Corbyn or Labour.
What must also be remembered & highlighted is that these attacks are almost always on the individual, not the policies. When that much lies, abuse, hate, death threats, assassination attempts (Finsbury Park Mosque attack was originally meant to kill Jeremy & Sadio Khan), bullying etc is direct at the individual (and those supporting them), then you know you’ve won the political arguments. This tactic is classic, historic right wing propaganda meant to discredit Corbyn and the Movement. Don’t buy it. It’s desperate and pathetic.

We stand shoulder to shoulder with Jeremy Corbyn and Labour, no matter how much pressure, hate, lies, abuse, character assassinations, framing etc you wish to apply to him or us. Be you inside or outside the Labour Party. You will not win. You will not overthrow democracy. Your bullying will not win. If you do not want to unite, be clear we do. If you want to cause trouble, OWN your skullduggery and disingenuous actions. We want peace. We want what we, and the public, demand: A UK government that actually cares for the people and one that puts them first. We feel sorry for anyone blinded by hate or gerrymandering who is incapable of wanting this.
