With 56% of the vote and with another centrist in Angela Rayner as his deputy Labour has returned to the Tory lite philosophy it was and is never supposed to be. A party that rejects the establishment and the elitist craving to keep everyone in their place and away from power was what Jeremy Corbyn offered. That was rejected by the lame nihilistic politicians and their corporate media cronies and they subsequently lied and cajoled the electorate via First Past the Post to vote for more of the same.
Only time will tell if Mr starmer has our interests at heart or the same ones who have routinely shat on us from a great height. If it is the latter then it will be the Tory voters who will determine the next and subsequent elections as those with compassion and empathy will have long since moved on to other ways to get social and economic justice.
Should we give them time or are the minds already made up?
