For anyone who voted for Starmer, who still clings to the belief that everyone telling them he would switch to the right, abandon members based on members who knew him, politicians who knew him, filmmakers and lecturers who knew him, experts who knew him….

if the stitch-up job of the panel looking into the leaked labour report did not ring alarm bells.

If the appointment of one of those named in that leaked report who also wrote for the right wing press as a key member of staff over the last couple of days.

If refusing to publish his donors IN FULL until after he won the leadership contest.

if even Andrew Neil saying he us doing a terrible job of holding government to account.

If leaving in place on the front bench (no temporary removal etc) MPs named in the report who allegedly blocked justice and framed alleged victims of racism as racists.

If wanting as general secretary one of THE worst alleged offenders in the leaked report as the new general secretary.

If reprimanding our BAME MPs, yet not defend them re alleged internal racism suffered, for being in a Zoom meeting they had no control over, or now knowledge of banned members being in did not sound alarm bells… then maybe, just maybe, this will pop that bubble of denial, bring some humility, NOT have people doubling-down in defence of him, and, constructively help hold our leader to account.

I am not leaving, I am staying to fight for justice. This will not be brushed under the carpet.

These hard-fought for policies will not be overturned unilaterally, purging will not be accepted. I ask those people who voted for Keir to join us in defending your fellow members, defending the policies, and stop remaining silent on clearly appalling signals currently being pushed out. Please.

Too much is at stake to say “Let’s give him a chance” which I agreed with. But at what point do you say “WHY TF am I silently allowing all this to go on. Unchallenged. Even worse, I’m defending it!”?

I genuinely want to know from said people why we should tolerate this?

Please, no deflection.

Please, no projecting onto those not guilty here. Please.

Thank you.
