If one has ever wondered why so many believe so much inaccurate agenda driven nonsense then one must merely look at what is on offer. What we have is a version of fast food. Where the the scum media is up to the brim with misogyny, xenophobia, political bias, lies and propaganda, fast food is full of sugar and salt. What do they both have in common? Neither is any good for our health.
One puts fat around the heart the other around the brain.
Every time someone reads… the corporate scum media it is equivalent to eating a hundredweight of animal fat. It reduces our life expectancy and serves literally no purpose to our species apart from those who seek to control us.
The following are but examples of this tyranny of our senses.
- Fake news about the Hillsborough Disaster lead to most of Liverpool banning The Sun
2. Blatant self interest and propagandising
3. Sexism, misogyny and ridiculing mental health
4. The tax cheat billionaires who pretend to care but never have and never will
5. Blatant framing to create division and debate
6. Political lies to play out a false narrative
7. Committing crimes
8. Fixing elections with propaganda
9. Seriously poor and prejudiced journalism
10. Shocking numeracy skills
11. Antisemitism
12. Feeding the far right trolls
13. Rich egotists rules the waves
13 is probably the appropriate symbolic place to end the examples of the scum media’s impact upon our consciousness….
Let us though finish with a sign of hope. We do not have to be force fed fast nutrition less food we can seek out a regular plate of something that will give us energy, a longer more inquisitive life and a mind that embraces thought as healthy solutions. We can see through the lies and nonsense if we really want to.
For some it is a short journey to seeing reality for what it is but for others it may be long and arduous. We all need to support each other to avoid our lives being rendered as mostly meaningless.
