Officers are searching for a missing man from Weymouth and appealing for help from the public to find him.

Kenneth Rampton, aged 49, was last seen at his home address on Franklin Road at around 5.30am on Tuesday 5 January 2021. He spoke to a family member at around 2pm the same day and said he would return home around 9pm, but he has not been seen or heard from since.

He left his home address in a blue Audi A4 estate car with the registration number GJ54 HRE.

Kenneth is described as white, five feet ten inches tall and of large build with short dark brown hair that is bald on top. He was last seen wearing a grey fleece, jeans, trainers and a black shoulder bag.

Chief Inspector Derek McKerl, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Kenneth has been upset recently and we are therefore keen to find him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Kenneth or a man matching the description given to please get in touch.

“I am also appealing to anyone who has seen his vehicle locally to contact Dorset Police.

“Finally, I would also like to make a direct plea to Kenneth if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to ensure you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Kenneth’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 6:73.
