Officers investigating a burglary and subsequent fraudulent card use in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to as part of their enquiries.

At around 5pm on Sunday 20 December 2020 a door to a property in Dorchester Road was smashed and entry was gained.

A quantity of cash was stolen, as well as two bank cards and items of jewellery.

Enquiries revealed that the bank cards were used to make contactless transactions at shops in the nearby area at around 5.30pm that same day.

Police Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “Following enquiries we have obtained a CCTV image of a man who was pictured using one of the bank cards.

“I fully appreciate that you are unable to see his face, however, I am hoping someone may recognise him from his build and the clothing he is wearing.”
