UK Labour are privately saying they expect to lose Hartlepool. I will be surprised if they do lose Hartlepool. One thing we do know is that if UK Labour does lose the Hartlepool by election, and the English council election results are as bad as polling suggests, like here, then obviously Starmer & Evans have to go. No doubt about that.
We must remember that these EXACT same people-Labour politicians, media, commentariat etc said Labour’s local election results under Corbyn were disastrous (they absolutely were not TBC). If Starmer is going to LOSE seats by comparison AND lose a by election in a seat Labour won in 2017 & 2019 under Corbyn, WITH complete impunity for disgraceful actions, a free ride in the media with mass media support, commentariat support, no MPs briefing on the hour to bring the Party down, without staff actively trying to lose elections (as the allegations-I.e. literally their own words-say, under Corbyn), while facing literally the worst, most incompetent, most corrupt genocidal-level-death-creating PM and government in history…
Then UK Labour will immediately have to remove Starmer & Evans. It would be incredibly selfish, arrogant, ignorant, morally reprehensible & completely hypocritical not to. The U.K. and the planet does not have the time, literally, to humour a Neo Liberal 1997 vanity The Establishment incarnate tribute act. To do so would be genuinely unforgivable. These people are STILL trying to blame Corbyn, members, ANYONE but themselves. Nope. Own it. If things are as bad as these predictions-OR EVEN CLOSE TO THEM-then Starmer, Evans et al absolutely have to go. Via resignation, via merely enacting the law of the land, or enacting Labour rules, or EHRC rules, or NEC sovereign decisions already reached. I.e. Legally, procedurally, this should literally already have happened. For them to continue in their roles would, literally, kill U.K. Labour.
So, IF things are even close to the results predicted in England, then Starmer, Evans & the Stockholm Starmerists have a clear choice-you have had LITERALLY the best possible set of circumstances to be ‘20 points ahead of the Tories’ as most of you guaranteed us you would be under your management, it has been possible to have. If you are failing as spectacularly as you currently are-and by ANY objective measure, you are-with all these massive advantages, then you are literally killing the Party. Objectively you are. So, either plough on and finish off the UK Labour Party for good, or put the planet, UK, members, supporters, voters & citizens first and go. En masse. It’s that simple. We don’t care that you can’t admit it. We are way, way past humouring your dangerous egos now.
So, you can face a humiliating defeat in a Leadership contest, or you can ALL go on Friday this week coming and actually have a modicum of basic decency. I mean, I know which option they’ll choose of course, but all that does is further destroy trust in them. Which is already virtually zero, given the numerous examples of racism, bullying, harassment, corruption, compulsive lying, illegal behaviour etc. Obviously they will, but it will be completely unforgivable were they to try and carry on. Their choice. No deflection. No blaming Corbyn. No blaming members and policies Biden is implementing in the USA that you praise while-just this week via Mandleson-you explicitly state you want to trash and reject here in the U.K.
Factually, according to the Political Compass, which never changes, not are you only not Socialists, you are absolutely nowhere near being Social Democrats, Left Wing, Cente Left Wing…not even Centrist!! But Centre Right AT BEST!!! Stop humiliating the U.K., your hard-working, completely demoralised members & activists, OUR Party and yourselves. Now.
Solidarity to those who are not members of this ever-more-selective, genuinely-dangerous-to-our-very-existence Cult; and it very much is a Cult. We will win, they will lose. Because if we lose, the Party goes, the country remains in perpetual Tory rule and then the planet goes (with the UK contributing our share of that blame). The stakes are really that high.

You don’t actually think that at 90/95% Neolabour Party Tory PLP and 5/10% UK Labour Party PLP we will have another Democratic Socialist as leader ever again, do you!?
