A hike along the wonderful Jurassic Coast

This is the most scenic hike I have ever been on. The Jurassic coast, Old Harrys Rock and the Dancing ledge, Dorset – they’re all such amazing and beautiful areas to visit. Hiking 15 miles along this coastline was so brilliant and such a great experience for me. These two hikes are perfect for anyone looking for a day our or a weekend away. The surrounding area (Swanage, Poole, Bournemouth) is really lovely and full of friendly and accommodating people – I could not recommend it more!

Hike 2 – Dancing Ledge: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/engla…

The hike took me the best part of a day so make sure you pack all your supplies or book a table at a pub for lunch! I think if you really wanted to you could mountain bike it but I wouldn’t recommend it as there are several gates and tight turnings! I would always encourage anyone who is thinking about going on my hikes to do your own research on the routes too, these ones are not particularly hard but I accept no liability for inspiring your adventure!

Be responsible and leave no trace. My name is David P. McEntee – I’m a professional videographer who LOVES to spend his free time outdoors hiking. In recent times I have focused on exploring and documenting my local area, I have hiked 42 miles along the Grand Union Canal, 18 miles along The Ashridge Boundary Trail, 24 miles on the hike that went wrong, 18 miles along Ivinghoe beacon and 12 miles along the Chess Valley River! Its been amazing! But now the plan is to start going further afield and explore some of Englands big spots.
