The incident occurred sometime between 4.45am and 6am on Sunday 5 September 2021 in the vicinity of Poole Road, Branksome.

It is understood the victim, aged in her 30s, was approached by an unknown man riding a bicycle in the Westbourne area of Bournemouth and he travelled with her along Poole Road onto Branksome, where the offence took place. The victim raised the alarm with nearby residents.
