Our MP, Marcus Fysh says of his fellow Members of Parliament “The huge majority of colleagues I know are there for absolutely the right reasons”. (Western Gazette, November 11th 2021).

We would like to ask if the “right reasons” include replying to correspondence from his constituents. We are frustrated that he often doesn’t reply at all or if he does he either evades the issues raised or gives inaccurate answers. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence that we are far from the only constituents who feel we are treated with contempt by our representative in Parliament.

Given that an MP’s annual salary is £82,000 and Mr Fysh has claimed expenses  totalling £892,844 since he became our representative in Parliament, do readers believe he is providing good value for taxpayers’ money?

Yours sincerely

And this proves our point beyond doubt that he is a con merchant out for his own ends.
