Officers investigating a report of a public order incident in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 2.50pm on Thursday 2 December 2021 in Holes Bay Road. A woman was driving behind a blue car, believed to be a Ford Fiesta or similar, that had learner plates on and was reportedly driving erratically.

The woman sounded her horn and when the vehicles stopped at the traffic lights near to Lifeboat Quay, a male passenger got out of the blue car, approached the woman and was reportedly verbally abusive toward her. He got back into the car, which then drove off when the lights turned green.

Police Community Support Investigator Paul Bosley, of Poole police, said: “The woman was left very shaken by this incident and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the man involved so we can take his account.

“I would urge any witnesses or anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage to please come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/do-it-online, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55210194314.
