Officers investigating reports of two connected assaults in Wimborne are renewing their appeal and issuing an image of a man they would like to speak to.
At around 5.10pm on Monday 25 April 2022 a confrontation took place outside Co-Op in Crown Mead involving a man and a group of teenage boys and girls. It was reported that one of the teenage girls was assaulted by the man during the incident. It is also alleged that a witness was pushed by the same man when she challenged him inside the store.
Neither victim sustained any physical injuries.
Police Constable Samuel Kinsella, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am now in a position to issue an image of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.
“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please contact us.”
