Officers are continuing to investigate a serious injury collision near Dorchester and are renewing their appeal for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report at around 8pm on Saturday 29 October 2022 of a collision involving a black Ford Focus and a silver Mercedes on the A37 at Holywell Cross.
The driver of the Ford sustained serious injuries and two passengers sustained minor injuries. All three were taken to hospital for treatment.
A third passenger in the Ford – a six-year-old girl – remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Police Sergeant Geraint Butler, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to carry out an investigation into this collision to establish exactly what happened.
“Following initial enquiries, we know that a number of vehicles travelled past the incident going up the hill and I would urge these drivers to please come forward.
“I would continue to ask anyone who has important information or relevant dashcam footage to please get in touch with Dorset Police.”
