Witness appeal following burglary at shop in Yetminster

Officers investigating a burglary at a shop in Yetminster are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 12.25am on Thursday 2 March 2023 of a break-in at the SPAR shop in High Street where alcohol was stolen.

Officers attended to conduct enquiries and a crime scene examination took place.

Police Constable Mike Rumsby, of West Dorset police, said: “An investigation is underway and I would ask any witnesses, or anyone who saw or heard suspicious activity in the area, to please come forward.

“I am also appealing for any motorists who were travelling in the vicinity with a dashcam, or any residents with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, to please check their footage for anything of relevance to help my enquiries.”
