The most serious breach of security in the House of Commons for a decade occurred a few years back. A man was arrested for hurling a bag of marbles at the screen separating the public gallery from the Commons chamber during Prime Minister’s Questions.
What the media missed in covering this rather British form of parliamentary disturbance was what the man was shouting about. Various onlookers, including MP Emily Thornberry, reported that the man was shouting: “answer the bloody questions”.
In more recent times the likes of Boris Johnson and Theresa May have been major culprits but it dates back decades with the Paxman/Howard interview being one of the most famed.
At last though we have someone who is brave enough to get rid. This should be the norm. Answer the question or be despatched from our senses.
The fact that it is Nick Robinson is a shock but everyone has to start somewhere.

And as an aside:

This explanation from seven years ago helps us to understand why many politicians are reticent to be honest and how the culture of democracies sometimes lends itself towards dishonesty or not giving an answer that may undermine their current position.
Sincerity it seems is not something to hold your breath in anticipation for.
It is not just Brexit that has led to an inherent distrust in our political sysyem. It is entrenched in our parliamentary history. Anyone who has power is likely to abuse it and we are the victims.
