I used to love Jon Pertwee as Worzel Gummidge. He had the charm and idiosyncrasies that made him a loveable rogue as well as a sweetheart.

However, Boris Johnson’s version is very different. Dark, sinister, corrupt, unfaithful, untruthful, nihilistic, sociopathic… are just some of the adjectives to describe the UK’s version of The Dark Prince.

The following would have to be a feature film to satisfy the reality of the last 12 months but if it doesn’t persuade the reader then the problem is probably closer to home.
