Adoption Support group in Dorset

I am based in Poole in Dorset. I am looking at setting up an Adoption Support Group. The group will be for Adopters at all stages of the Adoption journey. I adopted two children 15 years ago and survived. I blog  about my experiences at https://fiona-ferguson.blogspot.co.uk and work independently  and available for individual support.

I also have an interest in Adoption Disruption as this is an area that I feel is ignored, many disruptions happen before the final hearing and some happen much further into the placement. Whatever the reason, Disruption is harrowing for all concerned and parents are often shunned and expected to deal with this with little support.

My aim is to offer a hand of friendship to people in this area that may be suffering as I write. I hope that we can work together to raise Adoption support awareness and would love to hear from anybody interested in joining our Group.
