As part of Albion Stone’s commitment to the environment and surrounding community, we have put on our website all of our sustainability and corporate responsibility figures, targets and objectives for you to see. With our staff, clients, and local resident’s interests at heart, we aim to be transparent and have listed the information under the following headings:

  • Sustainability – how we are proactively manage the impact our operations have on the environment.

  • Community – how we adapt our operations to minimise the impact on the local community: for example, we are switching our extraction operation from quarrying to mining which results in a reduction in noise, dust and visual intrusion on the landscape.

  • Health and Safety – how we maintain the highest levels of health, safety and welfare for our stakeholders: we are working towards maintaining a system compliant with the requirements of OHAS 18001.

  • Quality – how we provide quality excellence and unrivalled customer support: our production process is compliant and certified to the requirements of ISO 9001.
