Detectives continuing to investigate reported assaults on two men in Weymouth are issuing additional images of a man they are looking to identify.
It was reported that at around 4am on Sunday 27 October 2024 two men aged in their 20s were involved in an altercation with a group of up to eight people in Westham Road.
One of the victims sustained a fractured jaw and the other sustained a cut lip, laceration on his ear and swelling to his forehead.
Following previous appeals, five local men were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. They all remain released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Detective Constable Megan Matthews, of Dorset County CID, said: “Our investigation is continuing and I have now obtained new images of a further man we are still looking to identify.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
