Officers searching for a missing man near Blandford are pleased to confirm he has been found.
Martin, aged 60, left an address in Winterborne Whitechurch at around 10am on Monday 15 June 2026.
Following search activity and enquiries, he has now been found. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.
Officers are appealing for help from the public as they search for a missing man near Blandford.
Martin, aged 60, left an address in Winterborne Whitechurch at around 10am on Monday 15 June 2026 and was believed to have been walking in the direction of Winterborne Stickland.
He is described as five feet two inches tall, of slim build with short grey hair and wearing grey shorts, a black jacket and a cap.
Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “Martin can become easily confused and we need to find him to make sure he is OK.
“It is believed he is in the area on foot and we would ask anyone who sees him to please contact us immediately.”
