Officers are appealing for help to find a woman who has gone missing in Bournemouth.

Becky Brady, 22, was reported missing at 3.56am today, Sunday 25 March 2018, following a concern for her welfare.

It is believed Becky was last in the Charminster Road area of the town, but has not been heard from since.

She is white, five feet two inches tall, of slight build and with dark matted hair in a large round bun. She was last seen wearing a dark duffel-style coat with a hood, a dark grey and blue patterned scarf, dark grey jogging bottoms and Ugg-style boots. She was also in possession of a carrier bag containing a dark blue sleeping bag.

Chief Inspector Alan Setchell, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Becky’s welfare and I would ask anyone who knows of her whereabouts to contact us urgently.

“The only image of her we have been able to obtain is a number of years old. While the photo is a likeness we believe her hair may now be a lot different and is described as matted in a large round bun.

“Officers have been carrying out searches in the vicinity since she was reported missing and have conducted a number of other enquiries including address checks.

“If you see Becky, or a woman matching her description, please get in touch with Dorset Police.

“I would also appeal directly to Becky that if she sees this appeal she contacts us to let us know she is safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Becky’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 25:72.
